A wonderful lot of 122 covers with a wide variety of frankings, usages, Registry labels & markings, there is a nice mixed of Domestic & Foreign usages, plus a small selection of incoming Registered covers, also included is a nice selection of 1840's stampless covers to Philadelphia with different type "R" (Recorded) handstamps in blue, mixed condition, please inspect, an important lot for the specialist which could be the start of an award winning collection.

Offices in China group. Five items, 4 postcards, 300(3) two with s.e., to the U.S. with "Shanghai, China" duplex postmarks, 319 on postcard to Shanghai, China, forwarded from Japan, and K2 ave-fine, tied on clean cover to Cleveland, by "Shanghai, China" duplex postmark.

Parcel Post Postage Due covers. Balance lot of six, including JQ1(4) three with pairs and one with pair and two singles, JQ3 with two s.e. copies, and JQ4 s.e. used on the reverse of an incoming cover from abroad, flaws include edge tears, creases, and minor reductions, fine appearing.
