(Town & County) Henlyville, Tehama Co. Cal., June 17, 1881 (Tehama), large octagon date stamp (Williams unlisted) with misspelled town name (Henlyville for Henleyville), on cover to Sacramento City, franked with 3¢ Banknote tied by manuscript, docketing at left, F.-V.F., the earliest handstamp postmark and the only known example.

(Town & County) Hopkins, Nevada Co., California, Jul 23, 1886 (Nevada), choice strike of purple cds (NEV-880, R5) on 1884, 2¢ brown entire to San Francisco, canceled by matching wheel-of-fortune handstamp, Soda Springs Hotel corner card (Placer Co.), an Extremely Fine strike, the only recorded example of a postmark from Hopkins, a short-lived post office operating from Oct. 20, 1885 to Dec. 2, 1886.

(Town & County) Igo, Shasta Co., California, Nov 20, 1879 (Shasta), bold purple octagon date stamp (SHA-2130) on cover to Napa, franked with manuscript canceled 3¢ Banknote; slight cover reduction and bottom nick at right, an Extremely Fine strike, a choice example of this very scarce date stamp.

(Town & County) Irvington, Alameda Co., Cal., May 19, 1887 (Alameda), perfect strike of purple serrated oval date stamp (ALA-2130) tying 1¢ banknote on locally addressed cover, with second cover bearing violet oval date stamp dated "Nov 26, 1889" showing deformation in device, to San Jose franked with 1¢ Banknote canceled by circle of wedges handstamp, with wedding invitation enclosure, Extremely Fine strikes, the earliest and latest recorded strikes of this fancy postmark.

(Town & County) Lime Kiln, Tulare Co., Cal., Dec 19, 1885 (Tulare), two strikes of violet serrated oval date stamp (Williams unlisted) with only tying 1883, 2¢ red brown (corner nick) on cover to Stockton, forwarded to San Francisco with partial Stockton cds and matching "2" due handstamp, Very Fine, the only recorded example of this unlisted first handstamp Lime Kiln postmark.
