San Diego & Imperial County Cover & Post Card Collection, 1900-1910's, of approximately 228 covers and post cards evenly distributed in stockbooks; post cards with an array of views and scenes from various towns, the best being a least 65 real-photo post cards with views including Brawley, Calexico including army camps, "Coronado Tent City", "Casa De Manaña Hotel, La Jolla, Cal.", "Indian Basket Makers, on Reservation, Warner Hot Springs" and "Making Camp, Camp Kearny" (San Diego), covers includes an array of postmarks of the period including San Diego with station and slogan, 1910 Westmoreland straight line, illustrated ads and registered, San Diego with Expo covers and cards including Exposition cancel, some foreign destinations and a few multicolored ad covers, generally Very Fine, Imperial county was created in 1907 from the San Diego county area.
