Folded letter sheet with blue "Gibraltar Mr27 1851" double line arc cds on the right side with a red manuscript "1/8" and "New - York 19 Apr 5 cut to shape." due cds, manuscript "16" cents credit to the U.S. for sea postage, "Via Liverpool per first Steam Packet Prepaid" endorsement, rate from Gibraltar to G.B. was 1 shilling per half ounce via Southampton with the remaining 8d of the total paid, being applied to sea postage from G.B. to the U.S as noted by the 16 cents credit, Very Fine.
