Württemberg, 1867, 18kr orange, rouletted. In combination with 1869, 3kr rose on double rate 1869 folded letter to Catania, Italy, tied by "Stuttgart, 14/6" cds's, manuscript 9 rate for the 3kr internal and 6kr Swiss transit, reverse with Verona transit and Catania receiving cds's, Very Fine, a very scarce mixed issue franking; with 1998 van der Linden evaluation.

Württemberg, 1869, 2kr orange, rouletted. In combination with 1875, 20pf ultramarine on cover to Kleinbottwar, red crayon manuscript "9" rate of 2kr advertising rate plus 7kr (20pf) for insured letter, "26g" weight notation; cover with a couple vertical file folds, F.-V.F., a very rare mixed currency issue franking and usage; with 1989 Thoma certificate.

Württemberg, 1869, 3kr rose. In combination with 1875, 20pf ultramarine on 1875 registered cover to Ravensburg, tied by "Saulgau, 13 Jun, 75" cds's, newly issued registry etiquette and clear receiving backstamp; 20pf stamp slightly overlapping cover edge at right with corner perf slightly short, Very Fine, a scarce mixed currency issue franking, officially the new pfenning currency stamps were released July 1, 1875, however the 20pf pfenning has been recorded used several weeks earlier to replace the 7kr stamps; with 1999 Irtenkauf certificate.

I., 1/6" cds on 1870 cover to St. Petersburg, Russia, red "Franco" straight line handstamp and red crayon "2" silbergroschen credit (7kr.), reverse with transit and receiving postmarks; stamp lifted and reaffixed, sealed cover tear at top, Very Fine; with 1998 Irtenkauf certificate.

(slight album offset at top), large margins showing guide dots all around, rich color and remarkably fresh, horizontal crease completely in selvage slightly breaking paper, still Extremely Fine, a choice margin single; with 1996 Thoma certificate.
